Updates on COVID in Ethiopia: Vaccinations Underway!

Ethiopia launches COVID Vaccination Campaign

Ethiopia started its COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 15th after Ethiopian Airlines brought the first doses of the vaccines to Africa, thus taking the lead on the vaccine distribution for the continent. The government is accelerating its vaccination efforts as Ethiopia now has one of the highest daily Coronavirus rates in Africa and deaths are multiplying weekly. 1/5th of the population is set to be vaccinated by the end of this year.

Today, we want to acknowledge and celebrate all the Ethiopian health workers who have been serving the community tirelessly throughout this pandemic as we continue to pray for the nation’s fight against COVID.
