SHGs Build Kindergarten In Farsuma Village

Pictured are three of the mothers that helped to build the Farsuma Kindergarten school

Eight women’s self-help groups joined forces to build a kindergarten in their village of Farsuma because their children would have to walk too far to reach the nearest school. These women learned about other self-help groups building schools for their children and decided to mobilize their community and make it happen!

Each self-help group contributed money they saved and petitioned the community to contribute.

These women, dedicated to improving their children's lives, made it happen! The school currently has 4 volunteer teachers, and they hope to build additional rooms in the future.

The power of women uniting for the well-being of their children is not only universal but also unstoppable.
