Early grade reading rooms get a boost with new mother-tongue books in Tembarsa!

From March 15, 2023

Early-grade mother-tongue books were delivered to the Balela and Saruma schools during our visit to Ethiopia, and more will be distributed over the next several weeks. Copies of 23 Tembarsa/English books published by Open Hearts Big Dreams are a wonderful addition to the reading rooms’ growing libraries.

We are grateful for the outpouring of support from our supporters to make this happen! We are thrilled that many students have new stories to dive into and practice their reading skills! Thank you for your commitment to improving reading opportunities and bringing high-quality local language books to children in the communities we serve!
