The organization Tell Girls' Stories highlights girls as storytellers  and includes a story by Tesfanesh from Mudula, Ethiopia!

This past Sunday, October 11, the world celebrated The International Day of the Girl Child. Every day is the day of the girl at WEEMA as gender equity and inclusion of  girls is a priority for our programming across sectors. But, we celebrate #DayofTheGirl as a reminder of our commitment to gender equity and an equal world for all children. On this year's #DayofTheGirl, WEEMA is proud to have been a part of an international campaign called Tell Girls' Stories which features 17 snippets and brief stories by girls from 15 different countries in 7 different languages. Below is the link to an inspirational  perspective from Tesfanesh, a 13 year old girl from Mudula, Ethiopia!
